Disappointing experience at this restaurant. After being seated and receiving our appetizer platter, we were greeted by numerous green flies. We asked to be moved. This was done. However, when our main courses arrived, the platter still hadn't been cleared away. A few minutes later, we had the "pleasure" of welcoming about fifteen flies to our table. After we expressed our discomfort, the waitress informed us that they unfortunately couldn't do anything more since they had already moved us. She also explained that they were experiencing the same problem inside and that it was "normal" given that the restaurant is located next to a lake. When it came time to pay the bill, we brought up the issue again and explained that we had cut our meal short because of the flies. We were then asked what we wanted done. And be warned, because when we ordered, our sides were supposed to be fries for one of us and potatoes for the other, but in the end, one of us got potatoes and the other rice… The only positive point is that we enjoyed the dishes, which were very good.

The food was decent and not too expensive (at lunchtime, at least), the fried fish was good and plentiful. The waitress was quite nice, but the owner... incredibly unpleasant. I think she really doesn't like cyclists, it's obvious. She made it very clear that I shouldn't linger (I didn't really want to, but I didn't stay long anyway). It's a shame, because the setting is really lovely.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and excellent food at a reasonable price.

A restaurant with a magnificent view of the lake, where you are greeted with a smile and truly feel welcome. The dishes were excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert. All accompanied by a bottle of rosé at sunset. A big thank you to our waitress, originally from the Czech Republic, for her impeccable service. We will gladly return.

Franchement déçu par le manque de professionnalisme des serveurs. Vous devez aller chercher vos boissons au bar, et malheur à vous si vous ne rapportez pas vos verres vous-même ! Nous avons eu l'audace de ne pas ramener nos quatre verres. Alors que nous nous dirigions vers la sortie, un serveur nous a fait la remarque : « Merci pour le plateau. » Monsieur le serveur, quand, au bout de vingt minutes, je vous vois en train de rigoler et de ne rien faire avec vos collègues, ne nous reprochez pas le fait de vous déranger sur votre lieu de travail. J'aurais compris la remarque s'il y avait eu foule, mais avec nous, il devait y avoir approximativement une dizaine de personnes. De plus, l'endroit est infesté de guêpes. Les boissons commandées étaient insipides : un mojito sans goût, des diabolos manquant de menthe et de grenadine. Bref, je ne recommande malheureusement pas la Brasserie du Mont Gland oups blanc...

A very good culinary experience by the lake!

The food was quite good but relatively expensive (€33 for about ten frog legs). The setting is pleasant, it's a shame the waitress wasn't up to par in terms of friendliness and helpful advice. If you mention that you don't like meringue and they still strongly recommend the Savoyard mushroom, trust your instincts and you'll avoid disappointment!
