Absolutely fantastic! I'm very happy with this lovely brasserie. The staff were very pleasant, and the food was of excellent quality. I will definitely be back.

I'm not usually one to leave negative reviews for businesses, but this time I'm going to share my experience from this morning, June 30th, 2026, around 9:30 AM. I arrived, having left my bike outside near the terrace because I'd forgotten my lock. As soon as I came in, I mentioned that I was with a friend who had gone shopping (at Carrefour) and that he would arrive later. I didn't even have time to ask if my bike was in the way or anything else before the waitress replied: "You order, you pay, and then I'll serve you." What a welcome! I almost called my friend and left immediately, but I was in a good mood. Okay, okay, let's stay calm and order. I go to pay just as she brings me my drink, and then comes the different story: "Since you're inside and not on the terrace, you can pay later and wait for your friend." Strange behavior, but it seems the lady of the house dictates the rules to the customers. We wait for my friend, he joins me, orders, we have a good time (20 minutes), and then it's time to pay. I go to the till with the receipt. But the lady of the house stays at her "bar corner"... this is getting ridiculous... but still remaining calm, I have to approach her. I go up and tell her, "I'm sorry, I don't have the 30 cents for €6.30" (I only had 20-cent coins and a €50 note), and of course, she refuses to accept the €50 note. This forces my friend to pay by card. In short, all this to say that this waitress was incredibly rude from beginning to end. I think she mistook me for a thug, maybe because of my slightly mixed-race appearance, backpack, bicycle, and short beard... I don't know. Next time I come here, I'll first observe who's serving and then walk right past if it's this haughty woman.

We wanted to sit a little further away from the other customers on the terrace to be more comfortable. A waitress immediately came over and asked us to move closer. When we explained that we needed a quieter environment, our request was met with a sigh, which made us feel it wasn't being taken seriously. Furthermore, the service was particularly slow. After waiting about 10 minutes, we had to get up to order. Then, after another ten-minute wait, we finally had to collect our drinks ourselves. Yet, the terrace was far from full. It would be appreciated if the staff showed more consideration for customers and made simple adjustments when requested for accessibility reasons.

The terrace is very pleasant, the service is quick and the waiters are very friendly.

It's not what it used to be, with a friendly atmosphere and staff with unfailing smiles.
