Brasserie I'Effet Boeuf

The service was a disaster; the waitress made us feel completely uneasy. On top of that, there were three of us, and it's the first time in my life I've seen a waitress pressure a friend of mine to order a glass of water, even though my other friend and I had ordered drinks. Avoid this place.

Excellent meal, impeccable service. The only slight downside was that it was very crowded and some people were practically shouting.

A steak tartare with pearl onions. Two days in a row.

Quick service at lunchtime, very friendly and professional staff, a well-rounded menu with plenty of choice, we ate very well 👍 the food is consistently good, which is a plus. A lovely terrace or an air-conditioned room for hot summers. Beautifully presented dishes, a feast for the eyes. Smiling and very professional staff. We'll be back 😉

I put 1 because the first thing for me is to say hello; if there isn't one, I'm leaving. That's the first thing.

Conveniently located in the shopping center, friendly, quick, and efficient staff. Prices very reasonable.

Very good, but it's a shame there weren't two salad sizes available with the foie gras option, as it was too much for me.

Very disappointed. We'd been here before, and it was great, but it's changed a lot. €20 for a Caesar salad, with just lettuce, four tiny pieces of chicken, a single sad egg, and four cherry tomatoes cut in half... it's pathetic. Far too expensive for what was on the plate.

I had just arrived on the terrace when the owner started staring at me intently. I felt uncomfortable. When I simply asked for a glass of water, he made me repeat myself several times in a mocking tone. Then he spoke to me very rudely, acting like he had the right to speak to me. He thinks he's the king, but first, it would be better if he took a skills assessment to remain the owner.

We had a great time at L'Effet Bœuf. Despite the slightly late service, we enjoyed our meal and had a good time. A good place for lunch in Chambéry.

Just for a drink. Ignored by the waiters for over fifteen minutes while they took my order. Gentlemen, customers are your bread and butter; the first thing you need to learn is how to take care of them. Rule number one of business.

If it were a little cheaper, it would be awesome. Yes, they deserve 4.5 stars.
