Good buffet, decent and clean, varied, friendly staff

We had a great time at this restaurant. The food was good quality and the dishes were delicious. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is easy to find and the atmosphere is calm, without too much noise, which was much appreciated. The only slight downside was the price, which we found a little high for what was offered. Despite this, it's a good place that we recommend.

No complaints. Friendly waiter, many homemade dishes, which is rare these days. Calm atmosphere. I recommend it.

Excellent welcome and team, a little more choice would be appreciated.

This is my second time here, and on this occasion, my vegan wife (vegetarian if there's no other option) was with me. As a nutritionist, and with high standards due to her culinary and family background, she was pleasantly surprised by the overall offering, even though the vegan options were limited (no tofu or corn/wok dishes). She still found plenty to enjoy as a vegetarian. The ratings therefore reflect my opinion more accurately. The staff was very friendly, and if you take the time to engage with them, they can be quite communicative, leading to some enriching conversations. A great experience that, in my opinion, deserves the rating given to this establishment. Of course, it's not always haute cuisine, as they have to find a compromise to offer so much at a reasonable price. The price-to-quality ratio is perfectly acceptable. A note on their paper menu states that they reserve the right to charge €7 for unfinished food, with a degree of discretion, thankfully, which is a welcome measure to avoid unnecessary waste. The atmosphere is pleasant, although a touch more intimacy and Asian glamour would be appreciated, especially in the center of the room. Having eaten there towards the end of service, around 9 pm, they served all the dishes until the very end (9:30 pm/last refill), and even offered me some large prawns that were missing from the display while my wok was being prepared. 🙏🏽😇 Good tip: A great option for a meal break during a motorway journey if you still have a few hours of driving ahead of you, as the restaurant is located very close to the Aix-Sud motorway exit, Exit 13! 😉 We'll definitely come back to that on our next visit to Aix-les-Bains! 😊🧘🏻‍♂️😏

The sushi was very good. I received excellent service.

A dismal experience. I politely asked a simple question about whether the meat was halal. Instead of a professional response, I received a contemptuous remark: "Wake up, everything's halal now." An inappropriate, unnecessary, and utterly disrespectful comment. What's most shocking is that they could have simply shown me the two dishes that weren't halal. It would have taken ten seconds. Instead, I was given a lecture I absolutely didn't need. When you work in the restaurant industry, you're supposed to welcome customers with respect, not judge or belittle them for asking a legitimate question about what they're eating. If you can't even respond courteously to such a simple request, perhaps it's time to rethink your approach to customer service. For me, this will be a first and last visit, since the buffet is halal.

Clime and a nice atmosphere! Not very big, but it's enough, especially since a lot of things are homemade! Keep up the good work!
