Quality isn't the issue; we all know you can't expect the quality of an artisan baker in this kind of establishment. But, I'm waiting at the counter, the waitress arrives with her hair tied back and serves me my baguette without tongs, with her bare hands, after she's just been fiddling with her hair, completely disregarding the most basic rules of hygiene... That's it for me. We'll go all the way to Aix-les-Bains.

The welcome was beyond icy; it couldn't have been worse. I came this morning, Sunday, June 14th, at 9:30 am for a croissant and a pain au chocolat. I asked the saleswoman to take the ones I had my eye on—I felt like I was asking for the moon! She made a considerable effort to take them; I felt like I was practically stealing from her bakery, especially since she was giving away products for free to the customer before her because she'd been touched by my words. Okay, fine. I had also come for a chocolate fondant and noticed some unlabeled brownies. I made the mistake of asking the price to know if I wanted individual brownies or the fondant. "€3! Excuse me, I'm busy." Oh, it's simple: I didn't buy anything. I didn't want to take up more than a minute of her time. The principle of sales, madam, is to sell, not to give away pastries and ruin sales. It's a shame because the rest of the employees are lovely and very professional.

The service was incredibly unpleasant! They treat customers with disdain. Not a smile, rushed to serve, in short, absolutely avoid this place.

No greeting, no respect, I felt like I was bothering them. The two saleswomen were smoking outside the door. I asked for a baguette, and they told me to come earlier for that. Absolutely avoid this place.

I hope this bad luck finally gets you to fire that rude and rushed saleswoman!! It's the first time in years I've been to this bakery and received such a welcome: no greeting, wouldn't let me dictate my order by asking me directly how I wanted to pay, no price given, forgot half of what I ordered, and not even a goodbye!! And I should point out that there was no wait, so Miss, everyone is tired in the morning and everyone is fed up with going to work, yet when you're in customer service, you try to be patient and smile!! Have a nice day! 😒

I've been going to this bakery for a long time, and today I was literally verbally assaulted by the waitress. I asked her for a coconut tart, and she told me she didn't have any. I told her she did, and she aggressively replied that it wasn't a tart but a flan. I pointed out that this wasn't the way to speak to a customer and that she had no right to be aggressive. She flew into a rage and wouldn't listen... what can I say... I'm absolutely outraged and shocked that customers can be treated this way. My 8-year-old son, who was sitting next to me, was also shocked.

My god, how awful!!! A young waitress who was beyond unpleasant. She dropped my sandwich in the display case and picked up all the ingredients with her fingers... then rearranged them as best she could! I dared to tell her I'd order something else, given the state of the reassembled sandwich. She just sighed! I then showed her a dessert I wanted because, on top of everything else, she wasn't listening at all and then told me not to touch the display case... she herself had just picked up the ingredients from my sandwich with her long, manicured nails!!!! I seriously question her hygiene!!! As for the timing... I waited over 3 minutes to be served and over 1 minute to get my credit card receipt. Three receipts were printed before they finally gave me mine. Amazing! I didn't understand. In short, it's not normal to be served like that, and of course, I won't be going back to that place.

What's going on? The bakery is deteriorating week by week. Inside, the lights are flickering all over the place, the sign at the entrance is loose, and right next to the door, the corner post is broken at the base—a large piece is missing. And the storefront... well, it's flickering just as much as the inside. How can you not go crazy or get a headache after five minutes inside or waiting to be served? Something has to be done to fix the electrical problem. Inside the shop, one of the display trays for the pastries is broken, but it's still being used. This is unacceptable.

Terrible sandwich, a 50cl bottle of water for €2.60 😱. Keep walking, my dear!
