Very disappointed. The salad was supposed to be an heirloom tomato salad with burrata and roasted peaches, but I received a standard tomato salad (the kind I can easily make at home) with basic tomato wedges. €15 for the salad with 4.5 peaches – mediocre. The other diners had Caesar salads with half an egg for €18 – the salad lacked filling! The bottle of red wine from Puglia was warm… we asked for an ice bucket and ice cubes for the wine, which wasn't great! We arrived 10 minutes early and were ignored by the waiter who pretended not to see us – completely unprofessional. It's a shame because the terrace is pleasant, but there was no atmosphere or background music – a real shame for an Italian restaurant. The waitress, however, was very pleasant! I won't be going back.

This used to be our favorite restaurant – the welcome, the service, and the quality of the food... but in just one month, what a change! We're very, very disappointed and won't be returning. It just goes to show how important the welcome and service are, because the quality of the food is what matters.

We came as a family for the first time and had a wonderful time. Aside from a short wait due to the crowds, the pizzas and desserts were delicious! 😋 Bonus points for the incredibly kind Caribbean waiter; thank you again for the extra tiramisu! 😉

I'm revising my review after revisiting Italoria since the change of ownership: The food remains similar to the previous restaurant, as do the prices; around twenty euros for a substantial and tasty dish! There's a good selection, a few vegetarian options, good wines, Italian specialties, artisanal ice cream, and more. Positive points: the layout of the dining room has improved (more space, more tables, different styles and atmospheres), the rooms seem to have been soundproofed, and reservations are now possible! The servers are very professional, friendly, and attentive. I recommend this place 💚❤️

It's a shame, because the setting is pleasant and the atmosphere friendly. We waited quite a while before being seated, despite the restaurant being very quiet due to its opening and the staff present. The four-cheese pizza was very good, but visually a bit lackluster… a single olive would have made it much more appealing! It's also a shame that the Parmesan for the risotto, the chili oil, salt, and pepper had to be requested. It would be much nicer if they brought these items directly to the table depending on the dishes ordered. The prawn risotto arrived cold the first time. The waiter very kindly sent it back to the kitchen, but when it returned, the rice was still so firm you could have practically replanted it, given how crunchy it was! 😅 However, thank you to the manager for the gesture of goodwill. I was really looking forward to trying dessert, but after the risotto experience, I decided it was best to leave it at that. It's a shame, because the dessert menu was really tempting.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The wait between being greeted, the aperitif, the meal, and dessert was extremely long. The meal was served cold. Very poor service.

Overall, very disappointed. It's a place we used to love coming to, but it's changed a lot lately. The service is terrible (a 20-minute wait for a carafe of water in the middle of a heatwave), and the quality is no longer there (undercooked chicken, bland dishes). It's a real shame because it used to be an excellent Italian restaurant. I don't think we'll be back, especially since the prices are really high.

The setting is very nice, but the value for money isn't up to par. The pizza was bland.

Mixed Experience at Venezia We came this evening to try this restaurant we discovered on Instagram. The page is enticing, promising a fresh, young, and dynamic Italian experience (the community manager is doing a great job). The setting was perfect: no complaints. The terrace is large, and the tables are well-spaced under the trees. The fact that the terrace was full created a great atmosphere with the summer breeze, which seemed very promising. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn for the worse afterward. There was only one menu for three of us (this can happen), but more importantly, the wait for our drinks was incredibly long (at least 20 minutes). Feeling hungry, we decided to order our food directly from the head waiter. This led to a 30-minute wait. A little embarrassed, we asked the waiter if he had forgotten us, as tables that arrived after us were being served. His response was a smile and a friendly greeting. Still seeing no progress, we called the head waiter, who gave us a generic, offhand response. It's worth noting, however, that he did serve us a large glass of wine to compensate for the excessively long wait, a kind gesture for which we were grateful. After the main courses, it was the same story all over again: an interminable wait to have our plates cleared, to the point where we wondered if we'd have to leave without dessert. We felt completely abandoned. Despite a veritable army of staff, the service proved disorganized and sorely lacking in attention and tact to rectify these blunders (the doggy bag placed on the table without a word, the unsweetened Lipton tea tin left on the table for us to choose our tea bag...). When the bill arrived: a simple "thank you, goodbye." A little more professionalism and consistency would have been enough to soothe our disappointment. As for the food, unfortunately, it was nothing special. The menu is enticing, but perhaps offers too many choices. Seeing the pizzas around us with their thick crusts, we were expecting a beautiful, well-fermented Neapolitan dough. Big disappointment: the crust was thick but cardboard-like. The pinsa was decent. However, the seafood risotto was overcooked, the rice grains completely broken down, resulting in a puréed texture, and the whole thing was far too greasy. Fortunately, the desserts redeemed the meal: the tiramisu was very good, the profiteroles were nice, and the gourmet coffee was very generously filled (which is rare!). One small detail about the latter, which reflects a general lack of finesse but made us smile, was that the verrines were stuck to the slate with huge blobs of whipped cream... It's effective for transport, but a bit messy visually! In short: a menu that makes you want to try too hard, but in trying to do too much, quality and precision are lost along the way. Having 12 years of experience in the restaurant industry and being a head chef myself, I know that a busy period can be challenging, but organization and customer service must remain the priority. We will still come back to try the pasta and give the establishment a second chance.

The terrace was very pleasant, but the food left much to be desired: we ordered a barbecue platter to share. The red meat was inedible, and when we pointed this out to the owner, he offered no solution. As a result, we couldn't eat as we had hoped, and no compensation was offered on the bill. This was very disappointing.

Perfect welcome, quality Italian cuisine, very friendly DJ music, really good value for money… I will gladly return, be aware that the sharing platters are really large 👍👍

We were looking forward to returning to this restaurant after the change of ownership, but tonight's experience was disappointing. Of the four dishes we ordered, three were underwhelming, particularly the carbonara, advertised as being "just like in Italy." The raw egg yolk was placed on top of the pasta (when it should have been incorporated into the sauce), which was swimming in a liquid with a creamy consistency. When we questioned this, we were told it was an emulsion of the pasta water—except that a true carbonara isn't supposed to be that liquid. Furthermore, regardless of the texture, and as noted in a recent review, the dish was bland: no salt, no pepper, no discernible cheese, and no additions at the table could redeem it (in fact, there was no salt on the table, no Parmesan offered). At €25 for a pasta dish, the "just like in Italy" quality is simply not there. The pizza my friend ordered, however, was good. The service also had several hiccups: my friend started eating a dish that turned out to be someone else's, served by mistake, and I waited over 30 minutes for a coffee that never arrived (along with the carafe of water I ordered at the same time). The manager offered us a limoncello as an apology, a gesture we appreciated, but which didn't make up for the accumulation of these inconveniences. We were hoping for a lovely evening back at this restaurant: so this will be our first and last visit.

As a regular customer, usually very satisfied, I was extremely disappointed this lunchtime to only be able to eat a small salad during my hour-long lunch break. The service was slow (we had to ask for our main courses, three salads, and desserts that we ultimately didn't have time to eat). Furthermore, we saw two servers helping themselves to customers' dishes and eating ingredients before serving them. This is absolutely outrageous and unprofessional! Previously, the staff was excellent, very professional and dynamic. Now, it's made up of young servers, some of whom are nonchalant and show no respect for the customers. After speaking with the manager, we were surprised by his reaction, as he seemed to doubt our claims. It's a shame, it used to be a very good place.

A very pleasant surprise! The dishes were beautifully presented and excellent, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service met our expectations. The quality and price were frankly very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

A huge thank you to Anthony and Léa for their warm welcome on our first visit! You were both so friendly, attentive, and pleasant throughout the entire service. It was truly wonderful to be greeted with such kindness and good cheer. We had a fantastic time thanks to you. Furthermore, the dishes were excellent and very generous (great value for money) :) We hope to see you again soon, and look forward to being served by you both again on our next visit!

I knew the place, but not since the change of ownership. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food—flavorful and delicious! It's a welcome change from fish and cheese and burgers... and it's a real pleasure to enjoy authentic, good Italian cuisine! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, which is lovely. Well done! I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

We came to La Venezia on Saturday, June 13th for lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday with family. Everything was perfect: the meal, the service, the atmosphere. A huge thank you to the entire team, and especially to the servers who took such good care of us. They were kind, smiling, and even had a great sense of humor—so rare these days! Thanks to all of you, we had a wonderful time.
