We had a delicious meal with a fantastic view. The service was very friendly and helpful!

Deplorable. Very expensive for what you get. Apparently, four slices of bread for two platters are too much. And if you ask for more, the platters aren't part of the meal. They even tell us they reserve the bread for customers who order main courses and that four slices for two platters is already quite a lot. In short, I would have ordered dessert because the setting is actually nice, but the service is subpar. I even felt like going to a basketball restaurant instead, that's how bad it was. In short, it's a tourist trap. The portions are ridiculously small compared to the price.

We had a wonderful time at Le Sougey. The setting is simply exceptional, with a splendid view of Lake Aiguebelette that makes the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, everything was delicious. I savored a perfectly executed prawn risotto, creamy and generous. The daily special, the Arctic char fillet à la grenobloise, was remarkable: fresh fish, perfectly cooked and enhanced by a delicate preparation. A big thank you to the entire team. The service was impeccable from beginning to end: smiling, attentive, and genuinely caring staff who truly wanted their guests to be happy. We felt welcomed with great kindness and professionalism. Between the quality of the food, the beauty of the setting, and the warmth of the service, everything came together for a memorable experience. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The welcome was appalling from beginning to end. The staff was unfriendly and the service clearly lacked professionalism. When the waiter tried to move us to another table because we weren't all going to order a meal, he even spilled water on us, without any real consideration or apology. A very unpleasant experience, both because of the staff's behavior and the atmosphere. It's by far the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I will never go back and I absolutely do not recommend it.

No possibility of a meal at 2pm on a Saturday during the peak summer season, quite regrettable…

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful lunch at Le Souget restaurant with my two sons. The staff were remarkably kind and attentive: thoughtful, smiling, and always caring. Both the welcome and the service were impeccable. The food was excellent, with a special mention for the delicious fried fish. The portions were generous and very filling. All this at a surprisingly reasonable price considering the quality of the dishes, the generous servings, and the lovely setting. And what a pleasure it was to have lunch on the beautiful shaded terrace with its stunning view of Lake Aiguebelette! A truly wonderful restaurant that we highly recommend and where we will gladly return.

Very bad experience. While we were customers of your establishment, our Dodge Ram was stolen from your parking lot. The perpetrators siphoned the fuel tank and stole the exhaust elbow, causing significant damage and substantial financial loss. What is particularly regrettable is that the police were present in the area, yet this did not prevent the theft. We understand that you are not directly responsible for the actions of malicious individuals, but a minimum of vigilance or security measures (cameras, patrols, lighting, etc.) would be appreciated to prevent this type of situation from recurring. We sincerely hope that this incident will be taken seriously and that it will lead to improvements in the safety of your customers. As things stand, it is difficult for us to recommend this establishment when parking exposes vehicles to such a risk.

Dinner on a weekday at the end of June 2026. Despite a mix-up with the dishes (we mixed up the risottos), we were served very quickly and the food was very good. I'm giving it 4 stars for the service, considering the error.

I strongly advise against going there; I didn't feel comfortable at all. The service is poorly organized, and I feel sorry for the employees, who seem overwhelmed and overworked. The atmosphere is truly unpleasant, and despite the food being of good quality, I won't be returning. The restaurant's organization is a mystery; it's clearly very badly run.

We received a very poor welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant. The staff were rude and haughty. We were told that the tables were already set for the evening service, even though it was only 3 p.m. We found this attitude unprofessional and poor customer service. Fortunately, other restaurants know how to welcome their customers with a smile, courtesy, and a genuine sense of service. A disappointing experience that we will not be repeating!

Le Sougey restaurant is located next to the Huttopia Saint-Alban-de-Montbel campsite and offers a beautiful view of Lac d’Aiguebelette. The location is quiet and pleasant, making it ideal for a relaxed lunch or dinner after a day of camping. The cuisine is hearty and well-prepared. We were particularly impressed with the burgers, and thankfully, the vegetarian options were also excellent. The menu is concise but offers a sufficient selection. The service was attentive and very flexible during a thunderstorm: we were able to move indoors without any fuss. Despite the change in weather and even a brief power outage, everything remained calm and well-organized. We were even able to move inside for dessert. This left a very positive impression. Overall, a straightforward restaurant in a beautiful location with good food and excellent value for money.

The service is attentive, professional, and always with a smile. As for the owners, they are lovely and passionate, which shines through in every detail.
